“My name is Dr. Nasrin Safavi, one of the General Internists at the Humber River and Toronto General Hospital. I have started a journey in Physician Wellness to improve physicians’ well-being and mental health since 2019. Besides my training in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Hospital Medicine which took me 17 years of education in the medical field, I explored another path of Mentorship and Leadership by completing a master’s in Healthcare Leadership and Life coaching. I am going to be a part of a new initiative at Humber River Hospital as Chief Wellness Officer to improve physicians’ experience.

I would like to share with you some practical points that I wish I knew before and that have helped me very much with my quality of life. Life is not perfect for all of us but we could make it optimized and personalized as we go through the challenges of life.
